Gustav Engström's research interests include climate change with a macroeconomic perspective and the economics of non- and renewable resource extraction. As of the autumn 2012 he will be engaged and funded by two independent research projects involving new developments in the arctic region and urban environmental planning respectively.

Presentation

Gustav Engström joined the Beijer Institute in August 2008 and finished his PhD studies at the Department of Economics and Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University. Gustav started studying Economics at Lund University in southern Sweden, but his interests in environmental issues lead him to take the course the Economics of the Environment held at the Beijer Institute.
As from September 2009 he is admitted to the Department of Economics at Stockholm University, funded by the Stockholm Resilience Centre and based at Beijer.
