Human-induced Trophic Cascades and Ecological Regime Shifts in the Baltic Sea

The ecosystems of coastal and enclosed seas are under increasing anthropogenic pressure worldwide, with Chesapeake Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and the Black and Baltic Seas as well known examples.
